Tenuta La Campana is a charming, medieval country estate
of 1050 hectars located in the middle of the Crete Senesi, a wonderful area
South of Siena, characterized by its hilly yellow/red terrain which is
typical of this area. The countryside is enriched by woods, cultivated
fields and deep gorges that make the scenery unique.
The country estate "
La Campana" is composed of several buildings of historical and
artistic importance; among them, the most beautiful, is the main house with
its typical Tuscan architecture. The 8 apartments for the guests are
situated close by in two other buildings.
All the apartments have
been carefully renovated with
beamed ceilings and terra
cotto floors, they are furnished with antique furniture which make them especially
charming.
Each apartment consists of
a large living-room with fireplace, kitchen (equipped with oven, cooker,
fridge, freezer, dishwasher), two or three bedrooms and always two
bathrooms with shower or bath. A private area outside, or a terrace furnished
with table and chairs for dining out are provided for each apartment.
This is an ideal resort
for a holiday in contact with nature and culture. Surrounded by tall trees
and flowering hedges, it also has a tennis court, a beautiful swimming-pool
(16 x 8 m) with wonderful views of the countryside, boccia ground and a

Tenuta La Campana is only
25 Km from Siena and its central location is ideal for interesting
excursions to very beautiful places such as Pienza, Montalcino,
Montepulciano and San Gimignano.
The Crete area is also
ideal for those who love nature, trekking and mountain-bikes.
