Until quite recently, Partena was one of the many
Tuscan hamlets, forgotten, abandoned and left to gradually disappear.
Its hilltop position, panoramic views and proximity to
such Tuscan treasures as San Gimignano, Colle Val
d'Elsa, Volterra and Siena drew its
attention to a number of home-buyers who together, bought the entire hamlet
and set about the task for restoration.
Partena is now home
to some fifteen families who live in the individual self standing restored
villas that form this tiny hilltop community.
Casa Partena is the very
first villa to the left hand side of the entrance gates as you enter the
hamlet.
It occupies a floor area of approximately 120 square
meters (1270 square feet) on two levels and is set in its own garden and
outdoor living area.
At ground floor there is a large living room with
fireplace, a service bathroom, a very well equipped kitchen (cooker,
fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine).
On the upper floor there are two double bedded rooms,
one twin bedroom, one bathroom with shower and one bathroom with bath tube.
The villa is extremely well furnished and equipped for
a brief or longer term holiday accommodation; in addition to its panoramic
location, a communal pool is located on the grounds for private use by Partena's
guests.
