Sleeps 8 – 250 sqm- Poggio al Sole, a traditional
old Tuscan farmhouse, has been restored to a good level, with beamed
ceilings and terracotta floors. Set in an area of great natural beauty, the
splendid position of the house can be fully enjoyed from the garden, the
lovely swimming pool (7 x 14 m – deep 90 cm – 250 cm ) and a big covered terrace ideal for
al fresco dinners.
This large farmhouse has been divided into two
houses totally independent and with completely separate sitting covered area
and entrance. The English speaking owners, live in one of the two
apartments and share the pool with the guests
The guests’ apartment is on two levels. On the
ground floor, there is a very spacious living/dining room and a well
equipped kitchen (oven, cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher).
On the first floor there are 4 double (or twin)
bedded rooms, two bathrooms with shower and one bathroom with bath.
Bedrooms are traditionally large and simple with
lovely views over the surrounding hills looking towards Siena.
A BBQ is in the garden at the guests’ disposal. A
washing machine is also available, payable locally. Satellite TV. In San Rocco a Pilli, 3 kms away, there are shops,
supermarket, restaurants etc. Siena is about 8 kilometres away from Poggio
al Sole.
