From the North:
Take the Motorway
A1 and exit at Firenze-Certosa following directions for Siena. In Siena don’t
enter the city but continue straight ahead following signs for Arezzo. After
few kms heading towards Arezzo take the exit on your right side to Taverne
d’Arbia/Arbia and Asciano. Go through the villages of Taverne d’Arbia and Arbia
and follow signs to Asciano. After about 17 kms you will reach Asciano. Cross
the bridge “PONTE DEL GARBO” and after 300 meters turn left following signs to
AGRITURISMO MONTECACI. After about 3 kms of an unmade road you will reach the
house.
From the South:
Take the Motorway
A1 and exit at Valdichiana following directions for Siena. Run along the road
“raccordo autostradale Bettolle-Siena” until you find the exit on your left
side for Serre di Rapolano. Go through Serre di Rapolano and follow signs to
Asciano. In Asciano go through the village and follow directions for
Siena-Monteroni d’Arbia. Just outside the village pass over a small and narrow
bridge and after 100 meters turn on the right side following signs to
AGRITURISMO MONTECACI. Continue as above.
